Hope you're not serious Nex, it's been out for about a year. And on default settings which is what you go by you'll get a lot more than that in most of them.

Seeing as the 6600GT is about as fast as the 9800 pro, a little faster, I'd say it wouldn't handle it as well.

Well the 6600GT is a $200 card, it's not gonna perform like the X800's and 6800's. It will perform well though, it's better than the 9800 pro and a good buy. It will run 3DMark03 well and no idea about 3DMark04 or 05.

Considering 3D Mark is mostly for DirectX benchmarking, I doubt they use an OpenGL engine

D3's graphics are just as good.

No it isn't, I'm running it on ULTRA settings and I can tell the difference. I haven't seen much of that level on 3dmark but looking at the character I clearly see that its much better graphics.

hmmm are you one of those that thinks doom 3 graphics is the same as unreal 3.0?

Those screenshots that you posted, I know doom 3 looks good but futuremark one looks (much) better, well for me. Btw I bet that 3dmark05 one has much more polygons than doom 3 ones.
