If i made a telaporter to put the player in the 3d skybox IN GAME would the player show up huge?

i've gone into a 3d skybox with noclip and shown up big on the map several times....you figure it has to be realtime, because of anything animated you might have in your skybox...so, if it shows your model, which it does, it will show you big, which it does. kinda like the camera entity, it shows you on the vid screens yeah?

I didnt think it showed characters at all ? How bout a nice screenshot to prove it ? That's all this thread needs to answer this guys question :)

not even! now I want to make a map like this. That'd be wierd.... :E

There is a map out with a teleport to the skybox and players do come out huge. The map is called de_sony-psp, and players fight on a psp thats on the floor of a room and the teleport lets you get big in the room by teleporting to the skybox.

I play on a server, the admin does that sometimes... it makes me play bad, I get rather distracted, all LMAO and everything...

I'd like to do a 1:1 skybox (I think that's possible, haven't tried) with a replicated map. Guys running around, but you cant shoot 'em. lol.

Sky_camera lets you change the scale of the skybox, yes.

I knew this, yes, but haven't tested the limits. Probably integer only... :? Although it would be fun to have tiny guys on a live map 3d skybox too.. :p

Ah... maybe that'd be too silly anyway.

heres another pics. it was sooo much fun. Admin was just playing around and teleported people places.

That's brilliant. When someone takes something that works a certain way - and successfully uses it for something entirely un-related... that's the sign of an artist.
