[Pressure]

I recently downloaded 3dMark03 and ran the test. The comp I'm running right now is:

AMD 1.2 GHz
512 RAM
Geforce 2 Ultra 64mb

When running the test it got to the second sound test then closed due to an error and didn't get to finish. I got the marks for as far as I got and I dunno if this is bad or not lol.

It told me I had 160 3DMarks. Is there a way I can get to test to finish and not have it stop due to an error. I'll run the test again and tell you what the error says. I'm getting a new comp next week so it should improve greatly compared to what I have now.

GeForce2?

Sorry, Geforce2's don't support DX9, which is the main point of 3dmark03. You could buy an ATI card 9500 or above or GeForceFX 5200 or above and those will give you DX9 capabilities. Other than that, there's not a thing you can do to make the test run on a GF2.

No it runs until the second sound test and I get an error that says, "FMOD error in FSOUND_SetVolume: An invalid parameter was passed to this function."

I'm getting a new computer next week like I said above. Its specs are going to be:

P4 3.0 GHz 800 FSB
1024 PC3200 DDR400 RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
80 Gig HD 8mb

if u are getting the new rig next week then why bother with the 3dmark. a gf2 is gonna give u a terrible score.

I have a GF2 and I've ran 3dmark2003 and got a low low score just like that. Very much to be expected.
It will run 3dmark2003 but ,just like in 3dmark2k1, it says skipping test because hardware doesnt support this test on most of the tests.
Thats all normal. Guess its time to upgrade.

pressure, you'll love the jump you get with the new comp.

I ran 3dmark03 just b4 i upgraded too.

I had:
p4 1.7
384 mg rdram
geforce 3
3dmark03---> 39 points!! (this crashed on the sound thing too)

upgrade my ram to 768,
and my geforce 3 to a radion 9800 pro
3dmark03 ----> 6,000!!

so.

btw, game test #4 is the dx9 test, and it doesn't run if you dont have a dx9 card.
