It was a picture of a burning flag. So what? It's not like it was going to affect anything or harm anyone. In fact the right to burn an American flag has been upheld by the Supremem court more than once I believe.

No one burns a Portuguese flag. The most that ever happened was painting them black a few months ago when an unelected PM went into office when our older went to the lead the European Comission. He had a (very badly drawn) swastika over the design center of the flag.
