What up. Looking for a good set of 5.1 speakers, Im currently using sound blaster 5.1 live digital sound card, my old 5.1 speakers didnt have a hub and where not even designed for pc use, so they where a nightmare to set up.

Any recommendations?

Logitech has a good range of midpriced 5.1 setups that suit PC's quite well.

I've got a creative 5.1 setup, not exactly the same as the first one but simmilar and it has proved decent, it all depends what you want out of it, i don't listen to much music or play many games so i just got a cheaper set.
The logitech ones have superb sound quality, nice and crisp from the satelites and a good thumping but not buzzing bass centre.
Logitech products are always pretty decent so you can't go wrong.
I wouldn't go for the second logitech set, imo that's a little overkill.

That sounds good, just in my price range.

Useage wize, all the time. If im not playing music, im playing a game, if im not playing a game, im playing a dvd, if im not playing a dvd, im outside, or dead. :)
Cool, with ebuyer one of the best features is the customer reviews.
These always factor greatly in any purchase i make from them.
It's got some decent reviews, so yeah looks like a decent set.

If you buy the Z-5300 you wont be dissappointed, they are good speakers.

I didn't do much shopping, but I bought an 80 dollar set from Cyber Accoustic. I was looking for a good subwoofer. The one I got had a great one. Also, it has extra long cords. This is more important than you think.

I don't really have much else to say.. I am not really an expert on this stuff. But I like good sound, and I can tell that these give me what I want. That Logitech looks like a good buy.

i have a set of creative inspire 6700's and i'm more than happy with them, like you my computer is always producing noise of some sort. sound quality is excellent in games and sound positioning is great with my audigy 2 zs card. music is good, very punchy bass with lots of fine detail too, i expect that expensive sets would be better though (i got my audigy and 6700's for ~£100 from ebuyer, top notch).
