50/50 chance we die on january 24

500,000km?? Haha!

Yeah, no cause for alarm, but it is quite weird that something has flown so close...

I find it rather hilarious how these hoaxes are believed, every time. No asteroid has ever had more than a 3% impact risk, and further orbit refinements and observations usually rule out impact in a couple of weeks. Today's motto is: don't believe random shit on youtube, especially when it's about the imminent end of the world.

Oh noez! I'm going to get hit by that toilet because it's only 10 meters away! And that's like so close in terms of the moon!!

Are we actually going to see something out of the ordinary in the night sky when this passes or will it just be another light in the sky?

ok you guys do know that like 90% of the asteroids out there that are near earth objects will probably hit us before we even have a chance to detect it...so doomsday asteroid could be like tomorrow or next thursday or 88 days from march 21st 2019

As long as we don't lose the internet....

no, really, if all people die and the internet is no more, how would one please themselves, imagination.

BTW, get your guns, if you don't die, you may not be alone....

It will be a light in the sky, nothing else. Quite interesting if you have a clear night, no light pollution, and a long exposure.

IF we all die on January 24th, then I'll be pissed 'cuz I have my two favourite lessons on the 25th :(.

aww, man... my finnals are on the 24th and 25th... oh well :E

"okay class, how do you think a meteor would affact the plane-"

BLAM

wait... the tracker shows the "colition"to be around Jan. 28th, not 24th...

29th is the predicted day. 24th is the day it was discovered last year.

Yumm,

meatier.

The only input I have, is that the Tunguska incident evaporated (obliterated?) before actually hitting the ground.

So, is it possible the meteor could pass over or beneath the Earth

It's not hitting the frickin planet, it's just coming close, internet hoaxes ftl

Well, there was a huge boom nearby, buildings and trees fell down from some kind of shockwave...and I can't see the sky because of some ash.

Nothing out of the ordinary in Dorset!

It's already tomorrow in Australia, if the world ended they'd be the first to know.

*tries to call Australia...*
SHIT! Nobody is answering..we're all going to die!

We're all already dead, HL2.net.

The meteor hit earlier today.

This is our afterlife.

wow, I would be doing the exact same thing when I am dead then when I was alive.

Funny, I always thought being dead would be a bit more fun.
