A drug career is not a respectable profession no matter the circumstances. I have far more respect for the users than the dealers. There are many more jobs out there that this guy could have done to feed his family.

They are such materialists because in the past they were very poor and could only dream about things. Now when they're rich they go nuts!

Not everybody is attacking the rap. I'm personally not attacking the rap, because I haven't really heard his, but I was attacking the rapper trying to maintain an appearance of intimidation and 'coolness' based on his past history of drug usage,being shot, etc.

Sure it is. Most of the drugs these people sell are known to be very devastating and addictive, and even those who smoke pot have a hard time arguing against that. Pot... big deal, what i'm worried about is the dealers who are distributing cocaine, heroin, meth, and other very dangerous/destructive drugs. They're helping people... helping them destroy their lives and those around them, as they become more and more dependant on the drugs they are taking, and resort to a life of crime to support their habits.

Well first off, lumping coffee in with those other things, is a pretty lame thing to do. The worse thing about coffee is its addictiveness from the caffeine. Last I heard, coffee junkies don't go around raping/robbing/killing people to get a couple bucks.

Cigarettes, tobacco, cigars, alcohol are just as bad as drugs in ways, but not nearly so in others. I despise tobacco and alcohol. My mother smokes, and there's no good to come from smoking or heavy drinking. You're talking about currently legalized substances, and are not even close to the leagues of heroin, cocaine, etc.

More drug dealers won't lower the price. If anything it just helps the big drug cartels like those in columbia and elsewhere in the world. More drug dealers essentially means a likelyhood of more crime on the streets. If anything, it'd be better for the government to be the dealers than the current scum that are doing it.
