I've got 50 Gmail invites to give away... and everytime I give some away, I just keep getting more...
If you want a Gmail invite, PM me an e-mail address and I'll send you one.

I think that gmail will never have an open sign up .

Same for me with 50 invites and they constantly renew, except I'm stingy with giving them out.

I have 50 also, but I'm to lazy to give invites out.

I think everybody that wanted a Gmail account already has one... well, 50 now. lol

You actually have infinate invites, just add yourself to the invites and you will have 50 more and on and on

I think the purpose of having this "invite" thing is pretty useless since nearly everybody already got a Gmail account. Hell, I have 48 invitations left!!! :p

I got 50 invites too, anyone wants one just send a PM to me.

I like this invite thing, it means the signups won't come flooding in and lag the rest of us out, and Gmail won't have to set aside all the extra space for accounts that people are never gonna look at again. Sure, people just throw them away willy nilly, but you have to put a little effort into getting an invite, which means you're probably going to use it.

Edit - Oh yeah, 50 invites here, PM or whatever.

same here...... why don't they open their doors?
I think this keeps things from "exploding",. it allows a more gradual increase of server demand so that the system remains stable.

Just my guess.

I have 50 too. I just cant seem to give them out fast enough.

same got 46 invites...pm and i´ll throw it in ur general direction :naughty:

No one cares about Gmail.

The ammount of bloody invites they send out, I dont see why they dont have a sign up allready. I think they enjoy watching people flood forums about there crappy gmail invites.

C'mon guys, it's genius marketing. GMail invites have created so much buzz across the internet, everyone's talking about it.
Why would they want to open their doors if people are advertising their products for them?

I think they don't open the doors, because it would be easy for spammers to create a gmail account. This way only friends of friends of friens get one. All my spam comes from a hotmail account... (I get spam on my hotmail account, I never had any spam with gmail :D)

Edit: I got 50 too, PM me.
