I have 512MB of RAM, but it is showing up as 480MB. I've concluded it is onboard video that is using the RAM, but I have another GPU in a PCI slot, so how do I turn off the onboard video? I've looked in my BIOS, but there is only an option to change it to 8MB, 16MB, or 32MB, and no option to turn it off. Any ideas?

Hmm there should be an option to turn it off, are you sure you have had a proper look?

I think this is the way I turned mine off. Right-click on My Computer, go to the Hardware tab, open Device Manager. Look for the onboard graphics in there, I think it's in there, when you find it, right-click on it, go to properties, and there's a drop down box somewhere that would say "Use this device (enable)" change that to "do not use this device (disable)."
