6 most terrifying foods ever D:

Some things are disgusting, while others made me lol.

heh - I remember a culinary expert from NPR mentioned balut as the most disgusting thing he'd ever eaten, and he mentioned some awful stuff. I recall him also mentioning, eh, 'burgers' that some African tribe(s?) would make out of a certain type of fly that spent most of its life as a larvae. During a certain time of year, and only for a short while, they'd all hatch and swarm around watering holes. The locals would catch them in nets, mash them into patties, fry them up and eat them. I think he said that was a little sketchy too, but hell, at least it's cooked - pass the salt!

I'm not even considering the cheese things listed as food. It's stuff bums turn down knowing there's quality garbage.

Woprk what you waiting for@?

Heh, my grandfather drinks snake wine. You just drown a snake in liquor, leave it for a month, and presto! You get snake wine.

Never heard of baby mouse wine though.

Argh... balut. I was about to eat fried eggs for breakfast too:x. Damn you hl2.net.

However the worst out of that list has got to be the maggot cheese, I mean WTF?

Balut is the most disgusting thing I have seen as a food. :|

What are they talking about, Lutfisk is great.

The other stuff is creepy as hell, though.

Yea those are pretty sick. There are others though. Birds nest soup: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird's_nest_soup Oh and basically anything that was on Fear Factor. Nobody gave a shit about the other 2 challenges, they just cared about the 2nd challenge. Contestants ate horrible stuff while Joe Rogan laughed at them: http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...209&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=5 Oh gawd that show had it all and then some!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5mGpQQZo4A&mode=related&search= *Plus they had HL music in it lol.

Bird's nest soup doesn't even look that bad :|
"A few species of swift, the cave swifts, are renowned for building the saliva nests used to produce the unique texture of this soup."
