6600 GT 256MB PCI-Express 16x

Does this card exist??

If not, does the 6600GT 128MB PCI-Express preform better than the 6600GT 256 AGP 8x?

I am pondering on which one to buy.

(I will buy a new SLi motherboard if I get the PCI express one)

Though the bandwidth of PCI-Express is double, it does not really offer any performance increase right now. That card would actually have lower performance (for current games where it would even matter) because it only has 128MB of memory, rather than 256. I do not know if a 6600GT 256MB PCIe exists, I use ATI.

I would go for an x800 PCI-E. You can get one for almost as much as a 6600GT(I think).

Unless you want to stay strictly to NVIDIA since I see you would get an SLI mobo. Then I would go with a 6800.

Yep, x800 PCI-e is teh ownage! Actually, I haven't used mine yet since I don't have XP and I need to reformat... anyways, the price was certainly good though.
