6800 GT problem....

Hi,Ive recently purchased a leadtek 6800 gt and i have been expieriencing some major problems in games. I have tested the card on 3DMark03 and only scored 8401 at stocked speed. Ive heard plenty of people getting 10000+ at stocked and over 12000+ at ultra clocked speed.
I tried overclocking it to ultra speed but it dropped to 7502. Also ive tried drivers from nvidia, omega, and leadtek. None of them seemed to have any effect or made any difference to the card.

I would really appreciate any advice, comments. Thanks

Well.....your ram could be bottlenecking it a tad, but it's strange that overclocking actually dropped your score.....that might indicate an overheating problem.

What kind of temps are you reaching? The 6800 GTs automatically throttle the core speed when you reach 120 C, although I can't imagine you're getting that hot.

Sounds like a motherboard problem. Have you tried updating to the latest motherboard/AGP/GART drivers?
