With audible murmurs of "This is no way to live," "What the hell am I doing here—I hate it here," and "**** this place. **** this horrible place," all 8.4 million citizens in each of the five boroughs packed up their belongings and told reporters they would rather blow their brains out with a shotgun than spend another waking moment in this festering cesspool of filth and scum and sadness.

Can't stop laughing

You do know TheOnion is fake, don't you?

I'm just kidding.
It's actually real.

"Well, **** that. I don't need to pay $2,000 a month to share a doghouse-sized apartment with some random Craigslist dipshit to prove my worth. I want to live like a goddamn human being."

Exactly why I stay away from cities.

I've been to the city twice, I always wonder how people stay sane. Obviously, they never were.

Considering I work with school districts around the country, NYC being a huge chunk........

I ****ing hate that city.

I like the city because it makes me feel insignificant.

I can't stand that small town bullshit where everyone is in your business. Plus you know you might have to see their stupid face again.

Somewhere in between is about right, for me.

I love rural suburbs. you can burn your trash and still have a party and get drunk off your ass and light fire works and no one calls the cops on you and at the very worst your neighbors dad yells things from his hot tub while hes trying to watch football

That's pretty much how our city is. Nothing huge, but it's no small town either.

I love NYC compared to Boston. Boston is really a shitty place much more so than NYC. There is always something to do in NYC whether it be a world premiere for something or just something going on. In Boston you have nothing except maybe some artist in the MFA or rarely, something big at the Museum of Science. Plus in NYC you feel like you are in a movie constantly. You can just picture King Kong or Spiderman on one of the skyscrapers. The Art Nouveau buildings everywhere represent the 1950's which is popularized by Batman and Bioshock. Also in my experience driving in Boston is far worse than NYC! NYC is based on a grid for the streets while Boston is more of your quick time action event you would find in a video game. The roads weave all over the place with little/outdated signs and tell you the exit is in the next 20ft. Also parking in NYC far more abundant than Boston.

You can't get much better than that when the stupid residents keep voting for a SPED of a mayor that mumbles:

Yeah, the roads in NYC are better than in Boston from what I've seen, but thats not saying much. Driving still sucks hard in NYC. Parking in Boston has never been a problem for me wherever I went, so I don't know whatchu talkin 'bout there. But the Boston culture is so, SO much better than NYC. But maybe thats because I'm Irish like most of Boston and not Dickhole like most of NYC.

Ahahaha. Granted, there's some fun stuff to do in Manhattan and I liked taking the bus up for a day. But after having to go up there every week after wrist surgery at the VA, I realized it was impossible for me to leave that place without a migraine headache and the smell of garbage and madness on my clothes.

I've only visited New York, but I really liked it. Hell, I'll take any city over my Orange County 'burbs, too many MILFs and too many SUVs.

I live out on long island, so whenever i go pretty much anywhere i have to drive through the city. ****ing terrible

I dont mind the city. I go to school in NYC, but It's also located in the Lower East Side where all the really cute hipster girls hang out so im probably kind of biased.
