Has anybody received a cell phone call from this number? I have got this call at least 3 times including my parents cell phone. You pick it up and nothing is on the other end. So I looked it up and low and behold I find this landline number in Montrose, Michigan of all places (I'm in MA). http://www.peoplesearchpro.com/PSP.aspx?_act=step3pl_wp The number is linked also to credit card scams but I have never had a voice on the other end: http://www.numberinvestigator.com/ Is there a way to block this number though? Each time this person calls, I get charged a $1.10! Yup, getting charged by AT&T for receiving a call!

Yes, you can block it. Call/go to an ATT store and get it blocked on the account.

Verizon lets you do this on the website, maybe try looking there?

I feel this thread is appropriate for my story. Early morning (about 2AM) I recieved a phone call while I was playing a game. The number came up as "(no number)", but I answered anyway. What ensued from the other "caller" was really quite scary, a really long groan thats sounded a bit like static and then a woman screaming for a short while. I realise that it was probably a prank, but it was 2AM in the morning and very dark. I was scared stiffless for the next few hours and could not get to sleep. So do not answer calls from strangers, especially if their number is withheld.
