8800GT is out

I ordered the EVGA Superclocked Crysis edition from OcUK and they sent me a webnote when I questioned the arrival date and they confirmed it to be Thursday 15th, so less than a full week fingers crossed!

you get crysis? I only get Quake Wars from evga


apparently evga cant pump out the 8800gt fast enough to meet demand ..in some cases they're behind on thousands of orders ..but they did allocate some for their own store ..I've heard some people have already recieved there's despite only waiting a few days ..the only problem is they charge a $45 shipping fee ..not worth it imho

Yeah I've read about a few distribution issues, especially with BFG having made a mistake with static protection in the manufacture process. EVGA will be with us late too I hear but the backlog problems over here are no where near as bad, thousands sounds horrendous. And I do agree...not worth the extra shipping fees.

The Crysis deal from OcUK is actually pretty good, I was going to order the 8800GT anyway, then this deal popped up so I jumped at it.

Oh my God - eVGA, which offered four different models had them all in stock for about a week. I check a few days ago their highest end model was out of stock and then I checked this morning and the other three are all out of stock now.
