I grew up listening to 90's rock on the radio and I've loved it all my life so far.

I love Sublime, Green Day(there early stuff), Counting Crows, Barenaked Ladies, and Tonic.
My one hit wonder of 90's Rock? Deep Blue Something - Breakfast with Tiffany.

Anyway, if you do listen to 90's rock whats your favorite bands\songs?

hell yes. 90's rock exclusively actually. Its mostly because I grew up listening to it.

I like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Radiohead and R.E.M, Janes addiction and blind melon.

I LOVED rock in the 90's, the MTVX days, so much ROCK

the presidents of the United States of America

moving to the country gonna eat a lot peaches

90s rock had some techno in it, but it wasnt full-blown techno which i hate. Most of these type of songs I like from the 90s.

Example
Electronic - Disappointed
Duran Duran - Come undone
Annie Lennox - Why or Walking on Broken Glass

Theres plenty more

I grew up on this stuff as well.

Mother Love Bone - Crown of Thorns
Sweet Water - Head Down
Pearl Jam - Even Flow
Soundgarden - Outshined
Alice in Chains - Junkhead
Blind Melon - Change
Mudhoney - Sweet Young Thing

God, I love the nineties. My favorite song ever- two princes by spin doctor (although I think that was actually the eighties :S) and the cranberries, and everything else... <3 "this is alice music" albums, and there's nothing that makes me feel better inside that suddenly coming across an awesome song that I heard 12 years ago, and finally learning who it's by and everything.

;(

I miss ninties rock so much. I wish that the grunge/postgrunge/alternative era would have lasted longer and not devolved into a mixture of raprock and emo rock as it has now become.

Don't get me wrong, I like some modern bands (does audioslave count?), but I wish some of the 90's style music was still being played.

Oh for the love of...I found my Alice in Chains Dirt tape along with my Stone Temple Pilots Core tape...but I lost my tape cassette player D:

I miss a couple of English bands. Oasis of course. Cigarettes and Alcohol is a rock classic. Definitely Maybe is a must have album. Other bands and songs worth mentioning:

Blur - Song 2
The Charlatans - The Only One I Know
The Happy Mondays - Kinky Afro
The Verve - Lucky Man
Skunk Anansie - Weak

moving to the country gonna eat a lot peaches

Peaches come from a can
They were put there by a man

Ace lyrics :D

apparently the lyrics mean more than most people think

Joe nutjob said:
"Peaches" is a song discussing the coming of socialism and warning that the revolution shouldn't occur at this exact moment but its coming. The Presidents of the United States of America make repeated reference to the oppression of the capitalistic world and their desires to leave it far behind.

man people need to find better use for their free time

The only thing keeping music alive these days is the bands from the 80's and 90's

Oh man Im really looking into 90s rock music again - this is the best stuff ever!! How it die so soon!?!?!

So many bands looking into...

Weezer ealier stuff
Gin Blossoms
REM
Concrete Blondes
The Lightning Seeds
Spin Doctors
Johnny Clegg
Blind Melon
Sublime
Acid House Kings
Green Day's early stuff was the best, todays is like a rehash to me

Who could forget Enigma - Return to Innocence...
Even Moby was on top of his game

Im so glad I was raised on this stuff instead of todays music!
Everyone keep the 90s musical generation alive forever!!

I'm only just getting into Faith No More. "Because I'm somewhere innnnn betweeen" .... etc

That's some good news, Stardog. Angel Dust is one of the few albums that is...well "perfect". 5/5 from 212 reviews on Amazon.com

Very underrated band and if you open your mind a bit check out some of the bands/side projects that the Faith No More members were involved in, especially Mr. Bungle - that band blew my mind in what a band can be capable of when I first heard them.

Anyway the 90's wasn't only good in the Rock department but also across genres like Metal and it's various sub-genres too...there was Sepultura's Chaos A.D/Arise, Kyuss, Death's Human, Vulgar Display of Power, Megadeth, Athiest and some killer death metal albums.

The 90's ruled, however I missed out on a lot of the earlier 90's stuff since I was born in '85 - I'm only now discovering a lot of it.

A good night, the best in a long time
A new friend turned me on to an old favorite
Nothing better than a dealer who's high
Be high, convince them to buy

What's my drug of choice?
Well, what have you got?
I don't go broke
And I do it a lot

Seems so sick to the hypocrite norm
Running their boring drills
But we are an elite race of our own
The stoners, junkies, and freaks

Are you happy? I am, man.

Content and fully aware
Money, status, nothing to me
'Cause your life is empty and bare

What's my drug of choice?
Well, what have you got?
I don't go broke
And I do it a lot
I do it a lot, yeah

You can't understand a user's mind
But try, with your books and degrees
If you let yourself go and opened your mind
I'll bet you'd be doing like me
And it ain't so bad

What's my drug of choice?
Well, what have you got?
I don't go broke
And I do it a lot
Say, I do it a lot!
I do it a lot!
I do it a lot!
Say, I do it a lot

Man, remember when MTV used to be put awesome songs like this on live?
