9200se 128mb ati video card

hey guys just got hl2 and runnign it on my comp heres my specs
amd xp 3000+ 2.17 ghz
1.5 gig of samsung ddr ram
and a 128 mb GeForce4 mx integrated gpu(this is my question)
it can only run direct x 7 and im thinking of puttin my 9200se in my newer comp to run it on direct x 8.1 do u think i should and will it run well?? i have the geforce and on direct x 9 i get a constant 100 to 120 fps

Wait, do you run the GeForce in 7 or 9?

Neither card is very good for the game, but the radeon will be an improvement.

geforce only runs 7!! thats why i wanna use my existing 9200 for this comp then after christmas i will get a 9600xt or 9800xt

Hehe, I had a Radeon 9200SE for a long time, I haven't used to it play HL2 but it worked fine for Battlefield: Vietnam.

Do not buy the 9200se! Your Geforce 4mx is nearly as good as the 9200se.
