A bit of a problem with the crazy priest.

Sup guys, I'm new to this community. Actully I'm very new to HL2 aswell... Just bought it and begun playing! I thought like "Oh well, people been telling me it's good - probably won't be a challenge but I'll try it anyway" . So I start going threw the game on normal maybe dying a couple of times. All is going fast and pretty easy, <Sighs> I think for my self first time playing and still not one single place where I've had to stop and think for a moment. This is when I reach the far end of the miners village. I've been told by the priest to meet him at the church and I've been running towards the only direction I could - forward =) . After a couple of minutes I reach a point where I'm still now ... AFTER 2 hours. That's the same amount of time it took me to defeat everything ellse to that place.

I really did try to make it on my own but figure **** it, I just don't have any clue where to go next. It's that place where you for the first time meet the guy with like 3-4 black things on his head. It's a place where you pull a leaver and a thing starts moving on the power cables and stops about half way to the end. It's a place where you jump and jump around on the roofs but come nowhere. (At least I)


Now can anyone help me? I'm running low on ammo since new monsters seem to be comming all the time from nowhere ... Appreciate it ! :cheers:

I'm not quite shure where you are?

I think after you pull the lever, you go back down the stairs and go around the corner to your right. You then jump on some boxes and get up on the roof, then jump across the far side and follow the wood planks to the basket that stoped midway. Then use it to jump across, thats why you have to pull the lever up in that up stairs room. You can get the power-ups and ammo on the side before you jump over. Then follow the roofs and ladders to the end. At the end look across at the fire escape and jump for it, it will colapse but thats OK you can still run up. I hope this helps:bounce: :bounce:

Ahh yes. Thanks man. I did do that before but I didnt find that door on the top which opend =) Anyway thanks alot! Will be posting one more ****ed upp thing shortyly!

Also if it's too easy right now, why not stick it on hard? Enemies take a bit more damage and everything feels just a bit meatier. I think you can do it without restarting, correct me if I'm wrong.
