All right, well after a long time struggling to actually get Steam to connect, it finally has and I've been playing Day of Defeat: Source for a month or two now. But I have a couple problems now that are somewhat aggravating. The first has just recently come up, which is that Steam does not find very many servers. It only finds about 30 or so, and it used to find about 400. Also, some servers that I know exist, when I enter their IPs in the favorites list, it does not find them (for example, 144.92.190.108:27016 or 144.92.190.108:27015). I checked the filter settings and it does not appear to have any filters (other than to make sure it's for Day of Defeat: Source).
The other problem, that I've had since the beginning, is that sometimes the graphics will pause while a sound (usually a gunshot) loops 4 or 5 times and then I start moving again. This is especially annoying.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
