War.

War never changes.

I know this may amaze and shock some of you, but I have never, ever, played Fallout.

Today, I embark on that epic Journey. And perhaps, perhaps I shall chronicle it. Here. On this forum.

Wish me luck. Today, I leave Vault 13.

/EDIT Day 1, 5/12/2161

The first day. I leave the Vault today - the safety of the giant concrete bunker beneath the ground, to venture into the radiation-scarred wastes of the world above. The control chip for the water system is gone, and I must find another before the stored supply we have runs out. It doesn't look good, but then, nothing ever has.

It's time to leave. Time to say goodbye to my family and friends. Time to save the Vault.

Actually I did, but then I reloaded. :D

Damnable mantises!

I'm lazy and therefore giving up the journal format. I did venture into a cave, fire many shots point-blank into a scorpion and then give the tail to some doctor dude, though.

Holy nice - I got Jintor to play Fallout - good to see my advice wasn't wasted.

Don't forget to visit the Shady Sands Village and say hello to mutant cows.

Ok, recruited Ian, wiped out the caves of Scorponoks, beat the crap out of Rats in Vault 16, and after much trial and error wiped out the Raider camp to the SE - but the two slavegirls ran off somewhere... > >

Its cool you saved thier lives. Thier off doing whatever it is free slave girls do.

i tried to play fallout, but i never finished the game...it was that exciting.

Fallout 2 is better in my opinion.
*Puts on flame retardent suit*

I've still never played any fallouts, either...

I feel so dirty :(

Fallout is my favourite game.

I could write about 20,000 words on the subject, but instead I think I'll just post Psyduck.

I'm nearing the end of only my second proper play through of Fallout 2. I've been playing it for ages because there so damn much to do and even the simplest tasks take a while.

Great games for depth and flexibility of play.

I find it incredible, though not impossible, that Fallout 1 still draws me quite deeply into not just the story, but the gameplay as well. Amazing for a 1997 game.

Also, it had a trailer for Planescape Torment in it. And I found that amusing.
