Okay, I'm wondering why is there a time limit for you to edit your post? Its pretty annoying that when you start your a new thread and you need to go back to update it or change something and the edit function has been disabled by the time limit.

I was wondering if you can disable the time-limit? Anyone agree with me? Or am I just a loner?;)

Whats the point increasing it to a day? If your going to increase it to a day, then you might aswell disable it.

Maybe you started a thread and needed to add some important info to the first post 5 hours after you posted it?

I could think of a million reasons for a bigger time limit. I just suggested increasing it as middle ground, if the admins insist on having a time limit at least make it a little longer.

SOLUTION= Quote the post you need to edit, and add what you need to say

@Mr-Fusion - Ah I get what you mean.

@DEATH eVADER - What I mean is when you have some long threads (possibly a download for something), instead posting a new link that you've found 10 pages in, you can edit the first post so people can see it. Usually the time expires before you can post the link.

There is a time limit on editing posts because of troublemakers.

We put a limit in because troublemakers were always changing their posts back to what we edited out, or really funny people would change their posts later on to make parts of a thread make no sense. We won't be removing it.
