A.I. disabled??

I've recently started playing Half-life 2 and encountered this problem. There is a note on the screen saying "A.I. disabled...", and enemies are not attacking me. I don't know how this happenned and what I should do. I tried going back (loading previously saved games), but I'm still getting this.
So if anybody knows, please help.

Get a legal version of the game, since that problem only occurs with warez.

If you do have the legal version, go to the Steam Forum!
