All i listed was 2005 movies.
All these movies are worth a look. Some look better then others but overall, all these should be interesting and entertaining.

I'd strike out BloodRayne and Alone In The Dark, I hear they're both the spawn of Ewwwwwww Boll...

And (Spielberg's, I think) War of the Worlds I'm a little worried about. Things I've heard seem to suggest that they might have spent lots of time on the effects and rushed the live action shots. I hope it's good. Isn't it the one with Tom Cruise, though?
 
I'm hoping against hope that they don't screw up the Aeon Flux movie.

Yes its with Tom Cruise. Im not worried at all, he is a good actor working with a good director. It will be fine :)

Also, Alone in the Dark and BloodRayne, ha. Uwe Boll has a fetish for ****ing good gaming franchises. Hes going to be directing Far Cry in 2006, ****er.

Well. I have no problem with movies based on games. Even tho they have a good chance of not being good, ill still go see them :)

I do, well, they're quite simply crap. I can guarantee Doom Movie will be flop. Its sounds to me like a Resident Evil (which was also crap:p) clone. No hell? Swat team? Argh!

p.s. Resident Evil 2 was also crap.:p
 
ugh cruise is a kiss of death for sci-fi movies ..he's such a one-dinemsional actor ...sin city looks great (big fan of comic ..hopes they'll do it justice) not holding my breath but I hope appleseed is as good as the books ..same goes for every other adaptation on that list

Take the videogames, Elektra, and Aeon Flux off and you've got a kick ass list.

What the hell is wrong with Aeon Flux? The cartoon was cool as shit.
 
I didn't like the artstyle at all. I thought it was horrible. The plots and characters were interesting though.
 
Well here's my predictions for those movies:

Great:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (I hope, I hope, I hope.....)
Unleashed (Really like the concept.)

Good:
Appleseed (Looks quite promising. I like the artistic style)
War of the Worlds (I fear they will probably ruin it, but the potential to be good is there.)
Sin City (Not really my type of movie, but I put it in good just for being different.)
Aeon Flux (I don't have any idea. Stuck it here from what others said.)
Assault on Precinct 13 (Could be entertaining.)

Fair:
Sahara (Don't really know. Just randomly put it here.)
Kingdom of Heaven (Looks ok, but from hollywoods recent track record with these types of films I don't hold much hope.)
Constantine (Concept looks alright, but I cannot stand Keanu Reeves.)
Batman Begins (After the debacle of the last two I don't expect much more from this one.)
The Transporter 2 (First was alright, I fear what a sequal will bring.)
Land of the Dead (Don't know)
SAW 2 (Not my thing.)

Crap:
King Kong (Godzilla anyone?)
Underworld: Evolution (First was a B-movie. Sequal to a B-movie? Nuff said.)
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (Can't stand the last two. I doubt this one will be any different.)
Fantastic Four (I'm betting it will go the direction of Hulk)
Elektra (Based on a crappy character.)
Doom (Great potential, horrible execution)
Highlander: The Source (Not a fan of Highlander)

Utter crap:
Alone in the Dark (Tara Reid + Scifi. Ahahahahah)
XXX: State of the Union (Hmm, a Vin Diesel movie without Vin Diesel. Now where have I see that before? Oh ya, Fast and the furious anyone?)

Mortal Kombat: Devastation (What is this? The fourth one in a crappy series?)

Ya, so I don't have much hope for the movies of 2005. I just hope the summer blockbusters will be better than this years. *Shudders*

Theyre remaking that?? :dozey: Saw video of that ages ago, was alright suprisingly, although I was quite young at the time.

And Im looking forward to Constantine, bit of a Keanu fan, *dodges tomatoes* Alot of people seem to hate him as an actor and I cant see him pulling off a scouse accent, but yea the concept and trailer look cool as hell. "Cool as hell" Get it? ;)

EDIT:Nevermind, Constantines "suddenly" American...

The Good/Great:Sin City, batman begins, war of the worlds, episode3, land of the dead, king kong, Constantine, unleashed, saw2.

Potentially good:Aeon flux, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Kingdom of Heaven, appleseed, underworld, Assault on Precinct 13.

The rest dont need to be mentioned.
 
Assault on Precinct 13 looks good (and it seems Valve used a gate sound for the Citadel tracks!)

War of the Worlds and Hitchhiker's Guide I hope are good. Neither trailers were that revealing.

Episode 3 will probably be mediocre, but I'll see it no doubt. That anime flick I won't see. Beautiful art no doubt, but the plot looks lame.

Others are meh.

I hope in the darkest most secluded corner of an abandoned warehouse. The other movie was absolute trash and come on its Final Fantasy ick ick ick

I hate everything to do with final fantasy, and "anime" So I am a bit biased

But war of the worlds WILL own and king kong is a maybe The only problem will be if the director invents things such as a ghost army rushing up the empire state building to kill king kong. That movie with will smith and the guy from "king of queens" where big willy helps people get dates and whatnot seems funny
Now excuse me as I go hide somewhere

It's as if you've uttered religious blasphemy!!! I have to agree that the first FF movie wasn't what most people expected, but Advent Children looks to be good, imo.

I don't care who says what about Doom. They already have my money. The only way to find if it's a flop is to go watch it. RE clone or not, I still can't wait for it.

I will see all those movies on that list. + The ones i dont know about. :)

I didnt list FF7 AC because i wasnt sure if it came out or not. I heard a few thigns about uit being out in japan etc. But as of what i heard today its suppose to come out in Feb. 2005
