A tip, either ad some effect to the text so we can actually read it without it blending in the same coloured orange, or change the colour of the text.

or give the text a contrasting border.

That can be achieved by manipulating the layer effects in photoshop (double click on the layer and wait until a window pops up with different value’s and options) to change the appearance of the text

I myself mostly use a border and experiment with a shadow, but unfortunately I suck at creating good looking text :S

Doesn't look anything close to good. No offence dude, but it's quite awful. The messy BG looks like it got ripped off some kind of visualisation for winamp. And it doesn't even fit in with the actual design.
Give the picture a little more aesthetically pleasing 'feel'.
