A nice free C/CPP windows compiler

I'd like to find one. I don't need an IDE necessarily, as mostly they have too many features I don't like. So, anyone know of one? Especially if its IDE-less?

or, tell me, can gcc compile c++? or anything else I can get from cygwin? I only used it for c before, so I don't know.

Dev-C++ is IDE based, but it's not bloated with features, I like it.

For command-line-based compilers you might want to check out DJGPP ( http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/ ).
