A Photo A Day Thread

I thought the grain added a nice detail to the Sigur photos. I like the window one quite a lot in your last post.

I had to retake that window shot like 5 times because people kept walking into the shot outside. I was at the place during a poetry festival so it was pretty packed with hippies, goth kids, and old people. Old people were cool though. One of them had this ultra long beard and was carrying around a monkey puppet making monkey noises to anyone who passed. I ended up talking to the guy and he was actually pretty normal. What sucks is, I forgot to ask if he would mind stopping for a picture. Never saw him again after that D:

Those photos are fantastic Adrik. How many shots of the first photo of the water did you get? I think a couple more shots at sightly different angles would be cool, did you get one without the plants in the way?

I have a bunch more im still sorting through, I uploaded like 400 pictures and they all start to look the same after a while D: Im pretty sure I took multiple shots of the water though

Probably the last shots I'll put up of the place, but Waterloo Village is a place I really want to go to when there isn't a festival going on or anything. Its probably ten times better when theres only a few people around. The majority of the shots I took looked something like these:

I dunno why, but I love ominous glass building shots like this. I did the same with a picture of a building in Toronto.

yeah.

But with Autumn just upon us, and living in an incredibly scenic area, I'm sure I will be able to get some great shots of the leaves changing colors.. it's brilliant. I've been looking forward to this.

I'm going to wait and get the deepest blue skies.

Where do you live Virus?

In Virginia, near Skyline Drive - a very long road that, in Autumn, is very scenic. People come from afar to travel it and take in the amazing scenery. Really is a sight to behold IMO.

She's right mate, we got a similar set up at the track :p

Damn this text talk an inability to place tonal inflection!

Just got me a fancy new camera. Heres a few of the more decent shots of my first shoot with mah D-SLR.

Sunset in Florence. Don't have access to a photoeditor atm so it's a plain pic. Wish I had a tripod here.

I love Firenze. Beautiful city. Streets absolutely riddled with parked scooters.

I visited one really interesting and mysterious place in our mountains called "The Devil's Mill". Here I have some photos.

^^^ I think the 2nd one is the best, looks like a cool place to go.

I went hiking on the AT this weekend...18 miles, woo.

Wish I was fast enough to catch the whole thing, but I was facing the other direction and turned around once I heard all the excitement, at least I got him before he slid behind the sign.
