A piece on The Witch

So the witch is like a Dementor? Bringing up your most painful memories and striking fear in you.

The Witch is daddy who is sexually abusing a baby?

I knew she was me in disguise.

Zombie...fetish?

She's falling to pieces for you

Good, but c'mon guys I think you guys are sorely missing some literature in your lives.

Yeah come on Crispy, it's not as if anyone said they thought the Harry Potter series was well written.

Toaster doesn't read books.

Except from her recipe book.

Eih, wasn't impressed, personally... This strikes me as the kind of thing that would get 'A+! Shows great promise!' in a school creative writing lesson maybe, but not something I'd read in my free time and think 'wow'...

Sorry kids, I am in agreement with Laivasse.

That's one of the things I actually loathed about creative writing classes, writing pretentiously guaranteed you an A.

Agreed, I read through it..but....eh, didn't keep me interested long enough to care apparently.

Guaranteed A is fortunately only in America. And that's good. Not for Americans though. Link is broken by the way.

No really, how does enjoying a piece about a game one likes imply a lack of liturature?
Enjoying it doesn't. Calling it 'pure genius' does.

I can't argue with your personal opinion on whether you like it or not. It's obviously written in a very personal style so your enjoyment is basically down to whether you empathise on some level or don't.

But holding it up on some pedestal because words were put together well is going overboard, and this merit does not make it an awe-inspiring piece of work. Obviously it calls to some and not to others, but to those who think it's the best thing since sliced bread, you only need widen your horizons from the internet to the bookshelf and you can be guaranteed of mindgasms for years to come!

That was me, actually. Also calling it pure genius says nothing about my knowledge of literature (hopefully), I guess I just really liked it.

You guys are reading too far into this with only a demo to go on.
