When HL2 finally is released, does anyone know what modes of gameplay there will be in multiplayer? Will there just be standard deathmatch or will there be team based, ect.?

Valve are keeping quiet about the multiplayer at the moment. Nothing is known ;(

I don't know how much info has been gleaned from the beta multiplayer-wise...but I do know nothing official has been released regarding it from Valve.

I'm hoping it's something that incorporates physics/vehicles heavily into the gameplay.

I can imagine a warehouse level with tons of 'traps' waiting to be taken advantage of against your opponents.

Knock that board out from under a larger structure and watch as a huge pile of debris comes toppling onto a hapless victim below.
