Here is my idea (May go in production soon and help will be needed)
Ideas about it:
We all saw father Gregori fight those Zombies at the end of Ravenholm and
dissapier down in some sort of catacombs.
Now my idea is to continue his story by playing Gregori.
It will not be a run and shoot game like Half-life 2 was the most of the
time. I am more thinking of a Doom 3 style of game.
There are few but powerfull monsters in a lvl and boss monsters in some
lvl's.
The game will be set 75 % in caves and the rest is set in the lost part of
City 17 we know as Ravenholm.
Story:
Gregori comes wounded in the catacombs and the interence collapse. He is
traped here and must find a way to get out, so he graps his trustfull
shotgun and begin to move down the caves.
As he moves down the cave he discovers that a new special breed of
Zombies/Monsters is here.
He also finds leads that there are a holy artifact in the Ravenholm area
that is supposted to be guarded by the caves, but it has been posseded with
evil by the monsters.
It is now up to father Gregori to survive his way through the caves and get
the hold of the artifact, but will he survive?
I have some story planned but i wont spoil anything more
Weapons:
Gregori Shotgun: The shotgun we know gragori allways have. Is it called the
annabelle?
Crusifix: This one will scare some monsters away or kill them just by the
sight if they are exposed to long at it.
Candle Light: Yes yes... Some people might hate it, but it gives dark scary
games a new dimension.
Silver bullet magnum: A deadly tool against monsters. It hits with great
force and nearly allways kill them, but beware ammo is very limited.
Wooden spear: The games melee weapon, a Wooden spear.
The "Artifact": No one knows it's powers, but the anchient people claims it
is the tool of god. (Not like the Doom 3 at all)
Other things:
-Only single player (Maybe coop if Source allows it)
-No driveable stuff
-Gordon and Alyx will not be here
-Will end before the riot in City 17
-The gravety gun will not be in (Who has ever seen a priest with one?)
