I've been getting alot of PM's and AIM messages inquiring about my fanfiction...hl2: The Resistance, and I wanted to just remind the forums that the fanfiction was killed by none other than my mother for reasons I cannot understand.

I know alot of you really wanted to see the ending of my fanfiction and I am truly sorry that I never got to finish it....but it was a good run while it lasted. For a long time it was the longest and possibly most widely read half-life themed fiction, and I'd like to thank all of you for the support that you've given me over the years, since I started writing it in august of 2003.

I'm now secretley working on an original novel titled "our beloved children" which I may or may not post on these forums, you may hear about it later. As for my fanfiction, you can get the final copy before it was cancelled

I remember your mothers reasoning. No offence, but it was ridiculous. Your story was a retread of HL2, for the most part. It was fanfiction. Nobody could steal it.

I agree. But I think its more that she fears the internet, and not neccisarily the stealing of my story, but she thinks everyone on the internet is a terrible rapist/identity theif.

Try and expose her to the net more... find some really tame recipe forum or something, and walk her through creating a post or something... teach her to use it, and she wont fear it as much. People fear the unknown
