A Scanner Darkly new trailer!

Reading the book now. I hope this is gonna be good.

OH GOD NO WHY KEANO REEVES!?!?? He'd better not spoil it.

This looked cool until I saw a bunch of recent TV commercials featuring the same interesting (and previously pretty unique) art direction. Now it reminds of the commercials that I hate, so its going to be hard for me to disassociate it from those, but this trailer does help.

Also don't know about animating right over live acting--it didn't work that well for the Bakshi's Lord of the Rings, but hopefully it will be better here.

the artstyle looks wonderfull, but to be honest it looks like a movie that is going to rely to much on it instead of a plot or good script. But I gues I might be to sceptical, I´ll wait for the review.

But they aren´t really animating, just using filters on real footage.

For all intents and purposes, the result is essentially the same though, but it might be really good and work really well. I think, like you, I'll wait for the review.
