Ok, I was playing the other night, at about 1 in the morning (insomnia sucks) on Operation Clean Sweep. I was Spec-Ops, going to the other team's artillery, UAV, etc. to destroy it. The thing is, something odd kept happening. I'd blow one up, and get a thing saying "team vehicle damage". I looked around, didn't see any vehicles, then kept going. This happened repeatedly until someone killed me. I got back, started up again, then realized that this was MY team's artillery and UAV. I logged out right off the bat, too embarassed to keep playing.

The moral: sometimes people aren't at the top of their game. Give them a break. I mean, if I'd seen me doing that, I would've given me quite an asskicking.

Once I shot down a teammate's helicopter with a tank, I figured since my accuracy was so bad I'd miss, but I didn't.

I had the old red teammate bug, and i had a squadmate who was red- i tk'd him 2 times, each time praising myself for my good shooting, after that he shouted over voip "wtf are you doing?" and i realised, but i still accidently tk'd him 3 more times in that round as he was always hanging with our squad. He left after the 5th tk- never punished me once- amazing.

haha ... i kind of did the same thing in css with a scout . i wasnt zoomed in so i thot theres no way i could get his head. but i did.

I hate that stupid red teammate bug. I've actually had the opposite: enemies show up blue, which sucks even more.

It all sucks! D:

But yeah, I've done alot of stupid things, but I'll keep them to myself ;)

Very early this morning (so i was tired) i was playing on Kubra dam as the USMC. I got into a jet and fly over the map, over the dam and some blackhawk had just capped the MEC airfield. It flew up high in the sky, i could see it was friendly on the HUD as a square with a cross in it. But i thought, "better make sure". So i aimed right at it so the blue name would show up, but then i relised i was flying straight towards them, i hit and tk'd 5 people :( I got kicked. Damn my sleepyness.

The red name over teammate bug is actually responsible for all but one of my kicks and bans.

My clan mate did the same thing with the arty on Mashtuur, i was over VOIP, "Um, JB, that's ours mate!" response, "Aw shit, and it is" funny times

Oddly enough I've never had this 'red teammate' bug. I can see how that would really suck.

I destoryed my own atrillery last tiem I played as well, they had our flag next to the art, so I assumed it was theres and blew it up.

Once, a person TK'd me, he kept doing it. I got real pissed, with all the punishes and whatnot... I got fed up so I tried to get him back with a TK, but he kept on owning me... I was soo frustrated, I cried.:(

It's not even the fact that it's killing your stats and making your team lose, the bad thing is that you usually get kicked, and seeing typing is absolutely USELESS (compared to VALVe games) in BF2, you can't even explain yourself when you determine the problem.

yeah that really pisses me off about BF2. In CSS, you can get to know people, have funny conversations, and still own. In this, people won't respond to so much as a hello.

That's what i love about a smaller gaming community like i play in in NZ. You get to know players, form good squads and have a blast- and its good fun- there are 'tard lists' of players that you should avoid hehe.
Yet its still large enough to have around 30+ servers running full most nights- good times.

Im repeatedly reminded about the dangers of friendly fire in css, machine gun, team mate, dont mix them, its just common sense ;)

mg42 in dod... THATS easy to tk with
