a texture problem

hi, im a new mapper and im getting the hang of it pretty good. but i attempt to make an map similar to freefall to hell like the CS series map. anyhow i got the teleporter to work. but i have a few problems. the textures on the bottom floor keeps on make the texture replicated and blur and such. also as you keep falling you pick up more and more speed. does anybody have answers for my question? im sorry if these questions have been ask before. i cant figure it out because of valve-erc is down. :( thanks for the help in advance
 
I'm having some trouble understanding what your problem is... replicated and blur and such... you mean no textures are rendering, it looks like 'the void' maybe?
what's the name of the texture you are using on the floor?
I don't get what you mean, about falling.
try to give some more information so we can better help you. :)
 
About falling:

I tried to do this same thing when I first started mapping and was doing gimmick maps to learn stuff (I'm still learning, but... yeah)

Anyway, I didn't know it at the time, but my suggestion would be to use "func_push" (or whatever the push trigger is) that would take away some acceleration. I haven't used push stuff before, but I think it would work. Otherwise you'll be accelerating to terminal velocity (if Havok has it) or to a speed an infinitely small amount slower than infinite speed (which would crash it, I'm guessing.)
