Holy crap I wish I could edit my previous post! When I dug up my wallpaper I realized that based of currently released HL2 screenshots the Combine Soldier's eyes glow blue! I have edited the wallpaper to reflect this and I am amazed at how much menacing personality the glowing blue eyes adds... GJ Valve....

I guess it makes them feel colder... Enslaved and removed from humanity so they can become brutal overseers of the combines will...

I don't know.... I could only wish I had those Photoshop skillz.. I thought I did a damn good job on the coloring and hl2 logo I made in the combine wallpaper, but that level of photoshop is WAY beyond my understanding...

I think he used PS7 and has been to some kind of school for graphical editing.

Is the original Halflife really that good? I own a copy but I just bought it so I could play Counterstrike a couple years ago and never bothered to play actual halflife... Should I load it up and give it a go considering HL2 is so close to release?

Of course you should!! It's only the best fps ever. Trust me it is. BTW that wallpaper is old and from the second test. It's the barnicle art.

yeah dude ... i was thinking the exact same thing you are and im glad i started playing the single player ... a little slow at first but its fun as hell once u get into it ... ... im at the trains ...

The last single player game I played was Doom and Quake1... I got hooked on Counterstike because it was multiplayer back in March 2000. I'm not sure if I'll be a fan of a single player game from 1999, but I'll give it an over due chance I guess... Thx.

Did you create that in Photoshop? Don't suppose you'd be willing to send me the .psd file or maybe create a similar version of that image to fit my HP iPaq which is 240x320 if I recall correctly....
