About Hammer(yes im dumb)

I installed Hammer and followed this guide

However I cannot get Half-Life 2 to come up at all in the Texture Format and Map Type. I seem to be missing the halflife2.fgd does this only come with the gold edition of HL2? If not where can i get.

... You aren't missing anything, unless you've got a pirated edition or jusy had bad luck with missing files (Meaning you should reinstall). Most likely it's just you not finding the right folder. It's all there.

My fgd is in _STEAM_USERNAME_\sourcesdk\bin

Just get a new FGD

Reinstalling won't do a thing,I've been through the same thing and reinstalled about 3 times,no luck......
