I emailed Doug Lombardi about Silent Hill V and why it's not available yet for purchase, here's his respond:

I don?t have one yet [release date]. We?re still waiting for an update on final code. More as we have it.

Apparently the game isn't as shittastic as many reviews said according to impressions I've been reading from fans.

I would like a release date and price so as i can decide to buy it on another platform.

As for reviews on the game they are as all last 2.
If you like the series (1&2) you will enjoy homecoming.
