absolute redemption storyline.

I think I already tried to post this, but it didnt seem to get through, so if it is lurking somewere in the forums please forgive me.

you all know the redemption mod, well idont know if anyone has ever thought about this, but it really hijacks the HL storyline.
if one of you peoples out there is the guy who made it, STOP ok just STOP.
your mod is the most self-rightous thing ive ever come accross, here's a list of things wrong with it:

1-you act as if you actually know the gmans identity(office, alien ambassador ect) as if,
2-the storyline is generally really unclear,
3-why the second rebirth of the nihilanth?
4-who are the xen? they cant be the HL1 aliens because them and the nihilanth weren't from xen origonally,
5- lastly, it is set after the resonance cascade, well how can that be? the portal storms began right after it and the planet was swamped by xen aliens?

I will end by saying, your mod is BU****IT.

Are you talking about the HL1 mod redemption? because if so, it was one of the most polished early Half-Life singleplayer mods, it was never meant to add to the official storyline, it was just an alternate universe tale, and the guy(s) behind it put alot of hard work in.

Most half-life 1 singleplayer mods diverted heavily, I remember one that had you invading the gmans mountain top retreat like james bond, it was ridiculous, but fun.

I remember that map being insanely sweet. Downloading it from Planet Phillip to see if it holds up without the nostalgia goggles.
