in the e3 vid where the combine break into someone's house it looks like they accelerate as they run into the room. Same with the guys that fight with you against the strider: when you're all running up to the battle the guy sort of decelerates and turns before stopping and talking to you.

Another sign of realism. Brilliant (if i'm not inventing it in my head)
