Harvesting the medic achievements got real annoying with all the people who were just being asses or just not listening to what we were working on.

SO... this time around me and my friend are setting up a room for ourselves. Anyone can join. It's be preferable if you have a mic as we will be using all talk to get the new achievements done as fast as possible.

Anybody who ruins our harvesting or isn't helping will get kicked.

I'm calling on any like minded people to add me on steam friends and then join us on Thursday to get this over with AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE.

We all want the weapons. If we work together we can get them pronto.

I'll get the lame ones in Achievment servers, but the normal ones trough gameplay.

I still haven't gotten any of the medic weapons, but that's because I barely play medic at all; if I want the weapons I'll play the damn class. But when I do ever-so-rarely play the medic, I still have fun doing it without any of the new weapons! Amazing, huh?

Apparently you'll only need to achieve 25 of the new achievements to get the new weapons. This will take no time at all!

From looking at these achievements I don't think I'll feel any need to farm at all. Good solid achievements based in normal gameplay with just a bit of skill and time required, mostly. I'll be happy to put in the extra time to get them legitimately.

See I beg to differ. I could have accumulated the achievements and weapon unlocks if I played a steady amount of medic, but as I see it, I don't want to be a career medic and just focus directly on that. Medic is my second most played class, but I want to build others as well, and farming for achievements to unlock the weapons was a nice subtle route to getting the job done.

I only farmed for probably 4-5. I did for the health one even though I was 150k away from it. I wanted to unlock the gun today, and instead of playing probably 3-4 straight hours of just medic hoping for a consistent 15k per round or more, I sat down and played probably 15 minutes and got it.

And like Laivasse said, those achievements are rather attainable. I've accumulated enough burn damage as Pyro so I think I should have that as soon as the achievements are released.

Hmm I made this earlier whilst eating dinner Curry it was awesome!

Screw the current maps I'll use my own kthnx. Oh yeah nubs cannot cap the intel before anyone asks the spawn room blocks that. Really it doesn't even need a cap point for intel but whatever it's all good. I could add a proper spawn room but I'm far too lazy if people want to be idiots and rape each other I'm not going to stop them. Although strictly speaking I'm not publicly releasing this, tis on my webspace though.

Vectry helped me with the two axe achievements (I'd never have gotten them in normal play) and the BarbeQuQ or whatever it's called. Thanks Vectyr!

It's time for more of the same.

Same deal, password protected room for harvesting the Scout achievements so we can all start hitting home runs ASAP.

We'll have the server up by tomorrow before they come out but as soon as they release the update (or as soon as we notice they did) we'll be in there harvesting. After everyone who helped has the new weapons it'll get shut down so if you don't have work or school be sure to join us.

The only unlock that should take more than 10 hours to get is the ?bersaw. But that's to blame on the ridiculous achievements.

I don't really understand why there are still achievement servers. Before they lowered the Medic milestones I can understand, but they've made it much much easier to get the unlockables since then, through both more reasonable achievements and fewer required to unlock. Nowadays, if you don't play enough TF2 to unlock the weapons, you don't play enough TF2 that you'd be using them much anyways.
