Adding more detail

Hey,

Im currently adding more detail to my first model (glock) but i was wondering if there was an easier way of duplicating this 1 ridge (top left on image) say 6/8 times instead of remaking each one??

i cant tell what edge you are refuring to... it it in paint and draw a line on it

the top part is all one plane then mirrored to create either side like Ichi's VTM .

i want to create around 6/8 in total of those ridges on each side
