Adelphia Powerlink

Has anyone else been having as much trouble with this ISP as I have? My connect always is interrupted for a few seconds, goes out at around 9 for 15 mins, and lags all the time. I'm from the maryland area.

My one friend use to have similar issues with them, we live in western NY. Though he doesn't have it anymore due to my other friend downloading illegal stuff and Adelphia calling my friends house about it. Now he is scared shitless to even get back on broadband.

I wouldnt get internet from a company with such crapy commercials.

I wouldn't get internet from a company that illegally monitors what I'm downloading (i.e. without a court order).

hmm, I have Adelphia Powerlink (live in western NY) and I have no complaints. Never had a problem with them.

Well I didn't think so, unless they had some sort of court order to do so. But if they would of gone that far why didn't they actually sue?

I've got a call from Adelphia, they said I was doing p2p, when I really was hosting a game of Half-Life, so somehow 27005-15 were blocked.

Paranoid Adelphia, well my upload bandwidth was down to 10k, a few months later it's back and reporting at 32k.

In New Hampshire I am. It sometimes pauses for a minute for every 5 hours.

Never had any trouble with them..
