Name some good adventure games. I am sick of lackluster fps' :dozey:

I was thinking of picking up Bladerunner of amazon, had the game once before but don't know what happened to it.

Vampire: Bloodlines - Thats a goody, interesting story, humor, many quests, and fun gameplay

Yo get it Bladerunner is sweet.

Other good ones:

The Longest Journey
Monkey Island series
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Day of the Tentacle
Full Throttle
Grim Fandango
Sam + Max
Space Quest series
King's Quest series
The Last Express
Gabriel Knight series
Beneath a Steel Sky

Many more, help me out guys.

Leisure Suit Larry series
Discworld series (Preferably Discworld Noir)
The Dig
Flight of the Amazon Queen
Broken Sword series
Goblins series
Beavis & Butthead in Virtual Stupidity
Bad Mojo

Very nice xlucidx!~!

I've played MOST of the ones you mentioned and they're all good. I'd call Goblins more of a puzzle series though.....

But Beavis and Butthead! How could I have forgotten that one. Classic! (Discworld too)

Still Life

Good story, GREAT CGI Cutscenes, good gameplay.

Its a relax game with cool puzzles.

Blade Runner is an awesome game!

Hmm, and Adventure game? None other then the new Sid Mier's Pirates! I will be picking it up soon myself. Check it out on gamespot and other sites.

I think I still got BladeRunner somewhere...I need to check this out!
I need the new Broken Sword aswell. Did anything important happen in Broken Sword II that I need to know about if I get Broken Sword III?

EDIT: Plus the new fahrenheit is awesome! Try the demo - you'll love it!

Little Big Adventure2, I loved the game even though I never played the first one

I can play the game on windows XP but for some strange reason the vehicle doesn't seem to turn right or left

Don't forget Syberia 1 and 2. They were artistic masterpieces and played very well too...much like the adventures of old (mentioned above by Darkstar and xLucidx).

Most of the good ones have been posted, and I can't think of anything besides Buried In Time II and Lighthouse.

Where would I get this games.....Legally.....without paying?

Let's see, No LucasArt game is free, because LucasArts is still alive and well.

To find them there's...
Amazon.com, ebay.com, ebgames.com, gamestop.com, etc.

well not like the adventure games mentioned here but Mafia, one of the best games ever imo you might like or have you already got that? i think you mentioned before you had but not sure....everyone should have mafia in their collection...

I have Mafia and loved it, literally.

I made the mistake of selling some of my old adventure games, especially Grim Fandago and Full Throttle.

Wait.....

You "loved it, literally"?

You mean you had sex with the disc? Wow.

My cock is like a bat, can squeeze into the smallest of holes.

Go with The Longest Journey, that game is awesome. Fantastic storyline.
