Everything you asked pretty much cant be answered and wont be untill we play the game. I feel it would be perfect for it to lead to hl3 but i dont mind having another exp.

BTW, when did valve say anything about HL3? I mean we know there will be one, but they never officially tolds. So then Aftermath will probably pick up where HL2 left and then establish a connection to Hl3 through some unsolved mystery. Or maybe not?

If you want to call "Some of the things we couldn't do in Half-Life 2 we'll have to put into Half-Life 3" a confirmation.

It's the sort of confirmation that we've had of Half-Life 2 since 1999. "We're going to make a sequel.. someday."
