Age of Conan beta signup

Funcom and Eidos announce the launch of the official 'Age of Conan' Beta sign-up program. The forthcoming Beta stages will give thousands of testers a unique chance to play the anticipated MMO before release, allowing Funcom to further enhance and polish the game prior to launch this October.

By signing up as an eligible tester at the official website, participants are given the option to take part in two forms of Beta testing, defined as general Beta and technical Beta. The general Beta will be ongoing tests where Funcom focus on gameplay and content, while the technical Beta will be event based, dealing with aspects like stress testing, server load and large scale global log-in. The Beta programs go live this spring.

this is just a sign up, it doesnt mean you'll be accepted or that if you are accepted you'll be able to download today ..no time frame but chances are by the end of this month beta invites will go out

they havent said anything but I'm willing to bet yes ..probably the game event betas ..like stress test weekend betas etc

They wouldn't do that, it's just not smart to test only a fraction of the hardware and setups out there.

Then they're idiots for not reading their emails properly

They wouldn't do that, it's just not smart to test only a fraction of the hardware and setups out there.

Actually it wouldn't be a bad idea for the technical part of the test so they could ensure that bugs that appear aren't because somebody's rig isn't up to snuff.

heh there have been a few reports of people not getting confirmation, signing up on an alt email account, getting confirmed and then hours later recieving a confirmation email from the first application ...seems like Funcom has trouble with getting their emails out ..it's the same for their monthly newsletters ..some people who have signed up numerous times still have yet to recieve a single newsletter

but glad to see you got your application through ..good luck to all, I'll keep you aware of any news of when it starts
