AIM and restricted internet access

Anything I can due short of bribing the tech guy at my office to get AIM? I cant download/use any executables and its annoying.

I tried but for some reason it keeps telling me there was an error when I was signing in. Is that just a problem with the site?

They can track the packet usage to your workstation. I wouldn't take the risk.

Well I am not sure is it against your company policy or something cant you just ask the tech about it?

well, i messed around with my settings and got aim express to work, i guess that will do
