I used to play airsoft, but some stupid old lady called the police because one of my friends was walking around with it in his hand. long story short we had the police(armed) looking for us, they found us in the end and took our guns away :(

Damn, that 1911 is nice guy.

I'm thinking about starting airsoft.

Are these pellet guns? Do you actually SHOOT eachother with pellet guns? You'll shoot your eye out!

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

New game: Find the eye!

Airsoft is stupid.Even tho they guns look real the pellets sucks. As far as I seen a airsoft gun is about 60ft.They don't shoot very far. Also you have the problem of cheating because you are not marked in anyway to tell if you got hit or hit someone.

Every airsoft game you have to wear some type of eye protection.

I remember BB guns hurting a LOT when I was a kid. My brother accidentally shot me once. And, we could kill small animals with them. Are these like very weak versions or something?

Yea there pretty weak. But they still hurt.

I wished Wolfenstein's 1911-A1 looked like that.
Anyways, is it okay if I own one of these guns? Or do I have to be older?

States laws may vary, but as long as someone 18+ orders it, you can own it. Tron, just because airsoft dosnt leave a mark like paintball dosnt mean everyone cheats. I dont play with people i dont know anyways, so there is no cheating when I play....

Custom airsoft guns can go 60 YARDS, not feet. Stock airsoft guns, about 20-30 YARDS. Spring guns...10-15 yards.

The reason i play airsoft and not paintball IS mostly because of the guns, but airsoft requires a lot more honor than paintball.

Oh, thanks for that site, Igneri.

Yeah, this sounds like it hurts a lot more than paintball. Does it ever pierce the skin?

Do you wear body armor + a cup?

Do you play in your backyard, or do they have like arenas and stuff?

i play paintball, we dont pretend to have real guns and cheating is rare on the fields i play at (sc village). paintballs hurt like a bitch if u get hit in the wrong spot (lower back, neck, groin area, ect.) but its fun enflicting pain on other sometimes, espeically if its your best friend who thinks hes pro.

EDIT: i have so many paintball stories. its always fast and scary(at first) and its a lot like SPR in the sence that when u open up on people dust flys everywhere and people either fall down in pain or scramble for cover. its amazing fun, nothing like it.

Airsoft has their own fields, but most of the time they are played right on the paintball fields. I usually wear like 2 t-shirts and a sweatshirt. It stings so freaking bad if you dont have a sweatshirt. Top grade custom guns can pierce your skin, but only at the neck and face. If your stupid enough not to cover your neck and face, you deserve it anyways. If you dont have a thick shirt or sweatshirt, then you get welts the size of quarters when your hit at semi close range. Another cool thing about airsoft that you cant really do in paintball is ricochet the pellets of walls and stuff. Its a sweet ass tactic for in hallways w/ automatic guns.

Edit...To me, airsoft is soo much more fun than paintball when you play it inside. Outside, id have to say i like paintball better, but for the realistic indoor areas, its so much fun.

What type of paintball gun do you have?

i bought it for 250 with a 20oz tank X-fire mask and all the little stuff, plug, hopper, ect. that was about 2 or 3 years ago.

EDIT: i wanted an autococker or automag though.
Good setup.Once I get the money I'm getting a autococker.I'm going to get it totally made from scratch.Starting from the body to the pheumatics.I was orignally thinking about getting this autococker.

http://members.cox.net/pgipaintguns/page8.htm

But the electronics don't come with a eye. Also the pheumatics on that is to big because of that duel reg setup. So I'm going to wait for the kit version of it.

im buying the TM SR-16, and a beretta. And hopefully going to play with the Silent knights one day.

Edit, i think that the G36c is a little cheesy, and as for the 552, it is my favorite rifle, but the M-16, in this case the SR-16, you can buy anything for it, my first upgrade will be a metal reviever, and then followed by a tac flashlight/laser and a new grear box hopefully hitting around 400 fps.

Hoi Hoi Hoi

Feet per second, ever heard of it?

It travels 450 feet per second...

Every second it travels 450 feet.

Not hard.

Never tried airsoft, but a local i-net Café is araging trips, and u can rent weapons and gear from them..they got one outside course with bunkers and stuff, and they got one inside course..what do u recommend inside or out? :>

Nice. I've never played Airsoft, but I know a guy who's starting out. He's got a spring-powered pistol thing, and we were having a few goes on it. I got shot about 3 times at pretty close range and I only felt it when it hit me on the hand. I've never fancied Airsoft too much, it's too military for my liking.

I prefer paintball. I only started paintballing this year, so I've never played on a Hyperball or Sup'Air yet (we live in a paintball site deadzone, the nearest one with Sup'Air is 50 miles away). We are getting a field set up near us, so me and a few friends are setting up a team soon. :D

I love my Impulse!

*hugs paintball gun*

Igneri the only way i would buy a G36 is if i could customize the hell out of it. But the one on that site in the tokyo mauri section looks awesome.

h00dlem....I like indoor course a lot better when i play airsoft. Its closer distances and if the indoor course looks cool enough its all that more realistic. But outside is ok too, the only problem i have with outside is that you could see someone...say 40 yards away, but it would be too damn hard to hit him because of the wind.

I'm getting into airsofting as we speak.. I already own the boonie hat... I'm buying an AK-47... and I'm gonna run around shouting VC VC!!!! and stuff :)

my friend got me into it btw.. not sure of the spex of the gun, it's from AD... btw, i saw someone get shot in the arm at a range of about 4 metres by the AK i'm getting, and it broke the skin..... :p

Yea i have a nice mauri AK74. They are so damn cool... i have a folding stock, silencer, and a scope.

Scope?Silencer? Folding Stock? PANZY!!! (jk:p)

you want a solid stock and no other things, expect maybe some old branches taped on with camo tape :flame:

i've got a gas driven walther cp99

412.00.00.jpg

it has cal .177 lead pellets which are driven by 12g CO² :D. also it doesnt have such a stupid red mark painted on its noozle, many ppl here think it's real since they have no idea of the difference between them. i can shoot a hole into 2 cans which stand right behind each other and the pellet goes blank through them. in the manual a warning reads that the pellets might fly like 200m (about 600feet...). so i wonder what kinda soft air guns you use when you play this game. it has to hurt unless u're using something weaker.
