Alan Wake Trailer IS HERE!

I can't find the trailer anywhere. I'm surprised no one has posted anything about it yet, too. Is it even out/around?
 
I had another rummage around and it turns out, the trailer was exclusive to Finnish showings of Max Payne. Basically, it should be on Youtube in low quality by tomorrow and then I imagine it will be uploaded in proper format next week. It's 30 seconds, in-game footage, shows some dialouge in a diner (where I believe the one lone screen cap was taken a few pages back) and another look at the obscure hooded figures at the end of an older trailer, but are still hooded mysteries all the same.

Still, I wish they had been clearer about the trailers showing. I never saw a statement about it being exclusive, I don't think.

ya i was hoping to see something before they showed Max Payne in the theatre last night but alas, it's only in Finland
 
In a good way or a bad way? Cus I'm not spending 45 minutes downloading it if it's the latter.

The above shot looks AMAZING--look at the detail in that tweed!!

And yeah, is it still going to look that good on the 360? *snicker*

EDIT: After watching the youtube version, I am sad that there is no gameplay shown and it sounds like the story is trite already. I will still get it because the atmosphere looks incredible, but maybe I am just not as excited by this as I had hoped.

I would say they need a good story first and foremost then focus on gameplay. Plus its Remedy. I know they will have both. Frankly this story looks amazing.
 
Downloading trailer now, looks impressive.

Long development time, anyone know the system specs yet? Or ETA release?

The devs have stated on the official forums that the 360 will run very close to the High(Or Very High) settings for the PC version.
 
Wow. That was worth the wait. Seems like this has one-upped Heavy Rain.
 
Do want. Hopefully their won't be a media blackout for another year now or sumit.

i don't doubt that Remedy will deliver in all areas
i just wanna know how it's gonna play already!!
 
Looks nice, though does anyone have any idea why I'm getting slowdowns and stuttering (video in WMP and audio in other players) while playing this trailer? Anything else I play works fine.

I was delighted the other day when I found out I have one of my dad's old tweed jackets from way back. It even has elbow patches!
 
Looks alright, well see is what im thinking.
 
Graphics don't look as impressive as when we were first shown it. Graphics have moved on pretty quickly.

The characters faces don't look too hot - their eyes look pretty dead. They could learn something from HL2.

Yeah, I thought Alan looked great tbh but the girl in the diner was pretty crap.
 
This game will have the most amazing story line ever written for a game. Mark my words.

I am also quite sure the gameplay will be good, but I did want to see some of it. Don't know what to expect atm. Great vid though.

I love Wine and Xbox emulators :-)
 
Although I'd agree the graphics don't look as good as they used to, they've still kept that really strong atmosphere, I can't wait, it looks really immersive.
 
Shame about virgil tracy standing in your way all the time blocking the view.
