The way it looks to me is Alec has very few chances (or fewer than he'd like) to see his girl whom he obviously cares very much for. The girl purposely avoids him. If at that point he has been "humiliated" multiple times it seems to me "regular" parenting hasn't worked with the child. She probably instigates and is a complete nuisance. This is conjecture but look at the trend for "popular" girls that age with phones and media attention.
The mother is probably weening her into this anti-father behavior. That's how divorces usually go. My mom has been divorced 5 times and eeeevvvvery time it was "he was a jerk like your father" even though she doesn't realize she can be a total retarded bitch sometimes. Some women are like that. If you don't slap them in the face either physically or verbally they will think they can get away with anything.

Personally I think Baldwin is harmless, his ex-wife is malicious and used this opportunity within her media-covered life as ammo in her game to prevent Alec from having any influence on their daughter. She won and he is now being defamed for something all people do. :|

For awhile now in Aus it's been a "no no" to smack your child. Naturally this pissed a lot of people off being a rather effective means of discipline. That said there is a difference between discipline and going nuts on your child because your angry.

Maybe in this instance it wasn't right but we don't know their whole history so lets not go there. What about the times when it is right and those times do exist. No matter how good of a parent you are you child will inevitable screw up somehow and that's the way life operates, what do you do?

Did you even listen to it? She has her phone off when she knows hes going to call. Shes obviously done it a lot to him. What parent WOULDNT get pissed if their kid purposely hid from them? He probably just wants to know where she is, and who she is hanging out with. But he cant because she turns off the phone he is probably paying for her to have so he can know she is safe by caller her once in awhile (like once a day at 10pm?). Also, shes not staying with him, because he distincly said hes going to "fly out there tomorrow". Way to miss some important infoz. :thumbs:

Wouldnt that piss you off then? If she just up and leaves, turns off her phone with the purpose of staying OUT OF CONTACT with you, and thusly makes you "criminally liable for negligence" would you be calm about that? Like I said before, 99% of the world population would be furious at being put in that situation.

I think you need to stop taking reference from your own life, because you have obviously led a pretty lucky and safe life. Not everyone is so naturally calm and in control of shit like you. However, at any rate, most of us arnt so lucky and we need to face shit like this pretty regularly. Maybe when your kids get older (ie: in the preteen ages) you will see how easily kids get on your nerves.

All we have here is a loving father is pissed off that his underage daughter is going around unknown place to unknown place without informing him of any of it, and purposely avoiding any contact with him. The ****ing guy is probably scared his daughter is getting into bad shit (like many celebrity family members do), pissed that he is being completely shut out of her life, being totally ignored, going through a bad divorce, and who knows, maybe he even had a terrible ****ing day at work that just set him over his threshold.

At any rate, neither of us have any god damned business in this, its between him and his family. The fact that a personal thing like this (especially since its such a lame thing to begin with) was released to the public makes me wanna puke. Our ****ing societies need to gtfo of celebrities lives and let them live like humans rather than a god damned exhibit at the mother****ing zoo.

No, I dont have any kids, but I do have a 12 year old sister. She has 12 year old friends. Ive seen all sorts of snotty bitches at this age misbehaving, and they can seriously piss someone off (one of my sister's friends pisses my own mom off to the point where she yells at the kid herself).

But Im not taking it from my experience, im taking it from a well know fact of life that teen girls are one of the most annoying groups of people in the entire world. Especially the ones who are rich because of their parents. Im also taking it from the fact that everyone but CptStern have a temper. People get have kids, people get angry at kids, people yell things they dont mean at their kids, people apologize to their kids, people still always love their kids. End of story.
