Algerian Uprisiing

Well everytime I hear a mention of this on the news there's always this ominous "It's also a huge threat to US security" at the end of almost every sentence but they never mention why. :/

They must take my philosophy to heart - everything is a threat to our security.

yeah....but I was referr-never mind SUCH A CUTE DOGGIE

More protests in Yemen today. Bahrain hospitals resemble a war zone. Violent protests in multiple Iraqi cities. The opposition in Libya took over an entire city, but Gadaffi rode in an open car through Tripoli tonight. There were even protests in Oman, the first since this regional uprising started. My big question marks currently are Saudi-Arabia and especially Syria. With every country that joins this Arab revolt and every leader that falls, chances are growing that shit will hit the fan there as well.

MANAMA, Bahrain – Soldiers opened fire Friday on thousands of protesters defying a government ban and streaming toward the landmark square that had been the symbolic center of the uprising to break the political grip of the Gulf nation's leaders.
Officials at the main Salmaniya hospital said at least 50 people were injured, some with gunshot wounds. Some doctors and medics on emergency medical teams were in tears as they tended to the wounded. X-rays showed bullets still lodged inside victims.

Doesn't look good.

I'm just waiting 'til North Korea and Venezuela starts the uprising, too. Although, there's a (big) part of the NK who loves the ditactor, so it means we're going to spend a LOONG time (more than we wait for TF2 and waiting for HL2E3) to see the action begins

people in NK don't have the stamina for a revolution they are brainwashed and broken.

Well, even the army itself is starving right now after we cut all aid, and apparently the populace isn't too happy with their 20-something leader-to-be, so we just might see a rebellion of some sorts.

Something like that and we'll reclaim what is rightfully ours. Hurrah.
