Seeing as how the film is coming along soon, I feel we should see who is a pred fan and who is a alien fan, basically, the question is.

Who would win in a fight, Aliens or Predator(s)?

I am a predator fan, they kill for sport, and are alot more coordinated than Aliens who just run around killing.
 
dude that film looks so gay. a crapy brittish director who has made the worst films to date(rotten tomatoes/imbdb) . he even igonres the video game and comic stores and puts in a crappy hollywood suite story .

You make me cry, you don't know how much I'm looking forward to this movie - my two favorite sci-fi horror flicks combined.

I hate you. But you have an... interesting avatar.

And it all depends on how many aliens and predators there are... and why didn't you make this a poll?
 
I'd like to believe that the aliens would win, but those (comparatively) wussy preds get their guns and techno-nonsense, so they get an unfair advantage.


And Subz:
I don't know about the director, but he's stated that the movie will use mostly practical effects, meaning :D NOT MUCH CGI!!! :D That redeems him somewhat, I'm sure.
 
Aliens would whoop the predators' asses.


If I had to choose a side, though, I'd be on the Predator side... they're less scary. :) And the way they heal themselves is so awesome.

So you're a psychic? You shouldn't even be able to say that after the movie is released, unless its really really bad. Like Predator 2. And Aliens 3. (Didn't bother with Ressurection)

Amen. Paul Anderson is possibly the worst director working in Hollywood today.

I love the predator and alien universe more than anything else. It is so full of diversity and darkness, and the alien design (by Hans Rudi Giger) is probably the best alien design ever. The predators are uber aswell, all their gadgets and the way they use primitive technology to do advanced weaponry and stuff.

I doubt anyone of them will win in the movie (which will completely ruin the original atmosphere of this universe) , although my bet goes for predators, who'll fight and die with pride.
 
Here is a short... er... "thing" i wrote about the alien queen in a similar thread:

Alien queen. She gives birth to hundreds of headcrabs that can lie dormant for years, then suddenly burst to life near their prey. engulfing their foes, the alien horde will sweep over a facilities in seconds, exploiting the structure and sticking to the shadows.

Then, once the facility has been used to give birth to hundreds of mature, elete fighting aliens... varying from dog - bred agile scouts to strong, human bred warriors... they will once again lie dormant, basking in their victory untill someone or something will inevitably come along...

and knowing the weak mindedness of humans, the aliens wait to lure out their prey... evacuation teams will come in one after another, and the alien queen will allow just enough people to die before she lets them escape in their puny human dropship... with a few suprises stowed away on board, of course.

and so it spreads... the alien horde, led by the impossibly intelligent alien queen. she commands the armies and leads her children to victory, until all is extinguished. until the universe lies unmoving and silent. They will never advance in technology... they will never try and better themselves, because they dont need to.

they are perfect.

they are not a race, or an animal... they are a virus. spreading and spreading... there is no cure, your only hope is to hold it back... but the human race can never better the alien... because it is individual. Each person is his own... but the alien, is is a group... led by a superior commander that will never be overruled or mutinied...

...the alien queen.

lets analyze the creatures

Aliens: like suicide say there are like virus, and when they infect a creature they can take characteristic of the creature they infect (for example in one of the aliens movie a alien baby infect a dog and the alien hav dog characteristic like walk fast in 4 legs and stuff like that)
maybe they are like animals but they still hav some of intelligence and are not dumb creatures
they hav strong but not so powerfull
they hav acid blood and that is one dangerous reason to not actack them

predators: they hav powerfull tecnology, like the canon they hav in the shoulder but they also use big spears and rudimentary thecnology
also that they can be inisibles and they see the heat
they are strong

its hard to choose

but in the movie looks like the predators hav some control over the alien
for example in the trailer in the piramid are a Alien queen prisioned

I think that will be 2 endings, one of the Aliens win and the other the predators win

Doesn't matter, since the human hero will win anyway.
 
Predator... But I think he will get a very though fight.

someone will make a AVP mod?
if nobody will make I will make it (but will be a bad quality mod cuz I never made a mod)
 
Aliens have better movies
Predators have cooler stories
Aliens have cooler origins/birth
Predators have awesome technology.

I go with predators overall though...
I wish Monolith would make a true successor to AVP2... give us AVP3! using the F.E.A.R. engine!!!! :D
 
IMO the F.E.A.R engine is similiar to the Doom3 engine

it has dynamic lights and shadows, but Im thinking monolith are bringing out the next gen "lithtech engine"

I would say its more akin to the CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK ENGINE (mwahaha Sadeko)
 
This movie us surely going to suck, bad director, bad actors.

I think one on one the alien would loose. Aliens are individuals combined to make a whole, they are weakest when by themselvs. They're like ants, one is easy to squash but when they come in thousands they can devour a cow.

Predator is generaly solo. He hunts mostly alone and has the technology to make it possible.

What the predator has in technology the aliens have in numbers.
 
No they blow themselves up using there self destruct mechanism.

Hm, that gore will probably just be alien shit, and if 13 year olds are allowed to watch it it won't be true to the original stuff.

How can Aliens, Humans and Predators killing each other represent homosexuality? Also, Predators rule.
